Sutter Coast Hospital is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist to join our team. We are a not-for-profit hospital, with 59 beds serving a population of approximately 43,000. Our services include a 24-hour emergency department, intensive care/critical care units, surgery, obstetrics, diagnostic imaging, laboratory, urgent care and home health services.
The Clinical Laboratory Scientist performs pre-analytic procedures, including test order entry, specimen collection, specimen processing and/or blood product handling, as well as analytic procedures, including testing of specimens and/or blood products, reviewing results and interpreting results. A California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License is required as well as current experience as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist.
