CLINICAL LABORATORY SCIENTIST
$44,916.40 – $84,004.84 Annually
DESCRIPTION
Under the direction of the Pathologist and Laboratory Manager, incumbents perform a variety of standardized chemical, microscopic, and bacteriological tests for examination, obtaining data for use in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. The higher levels also perform technical analyses within the clinical laboratory, are responsible for one of the specialty areas of analysis (chemistry, hematology, bacteriology, blood bank), and supervise on the p.m. shift.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Must possess a valid Clinical Laboratory Scientist, Clinical Chemistry Scientist, Clinical Microbiologist, Clinical Immunohematologist Scientist, or Clinical Hematologist Scientist license issued by the State of California Department of Health Services.
