Please read the below job descriptions:
(1 position) Drug Testing Laboratory CLS Director – Sorrento Valley – DIRECT HIRE:
The laboratory director is responsible for the overall operation and administration of the laboratory, including the employment of personnel who are competent to perform test procedures, record and report test results promptly, accurately and proficiently, and for assuring compliance with the applicable regulations The Laboratory Director is responsible that all assays and procedures meet State, Federal, and accrediting agency standards.
(1 position) CLS Toxicology (LCMSMS) Assay development- DIRECT HIRE:
An individuals who is qualified by education and either training or experience to provide technical supervision for drug testing in a high complexity laboratory. The assay development person must possess a current CLS, CLS-C, or CLS-T license issued by the State of California. They should have experience in a high complexity CLIA certified laboratory. The person must be familiar with LC-MS/MS set-up and maintenance procedures.
The assay development person is responsible for:
(1) Select and develop the LC-MS/MS test methodology that is appropriate for the clinical use of the drug test results;
(2) Verification of the test procedures performed and establishment of the laboratory's test performance characteristics, including the precision and accuracy of each test and test system;
(3) Ensure that the test procedures meet CLIA proficiency requirements by passing an HHS approved proficiency testing program commensurate with the services offered;
(1 position) CLS Testing personnel qualifications- DIRECT HIRE: (CLS)
The testing person must possess a current CLS, CLS-C, or CLS-T license issued by the State of California, and have demonstrated the skills in processing and testing urine drug testing specimens using immunoassays and /or LC-MS/MS and skills. The person must be familiar with random access analyzers such as the Olympus AU640
(2 positions) CLS Generalist – Located in Vista/ Carlsbad, CA – DIRECT HIRE:
Will run samples on FACS, flow cytometry testing. Will assist on chemistry testing as well.
(3 positions) CLS Generalist OR CGMBS- Sorrento Valley: these are CONTRACT:
Seeking candidates to work FIRST shift. Will be doing DNA extraction, PCR, RT-PCR, pipetting, DNA sequencing, etc

Job Summary:
· Responsible for preparation for CAP inspections· Reviews quality assurance standards, studies existing laboratory policies and procedures, and evaluates effectiveness of company quality assurance program.
· Writes and maintains QA policies and procedures; reviews and appropriately routes quality assurance reports; participates in validating and/or writing test procedures and oversees maintenance of the Policy and Procedure Manuals
· Responsible for document control; responsible for meeting the unique QA report needs of clients
· Maintains a database for the tracking of quality assurance reports and presents statistical data and narrative reports summarizing QA findings.
· In addition to an employees typical work schedule, this position may require employee to work weekends, split shifts, and holidays if needed by Company.
· Other duties as necessary
Job Requirements:
· 3+ years of QA/QC experience within a clinical laboratory, reference laboratory, hospital laboratory type setting· CA CLS license strongly preferred
· ASCP strongly preferred

· Minimum 5 years Blood Bank experience required
· Current California Clinical Lab Scientist license
· Strong background in area discipline with full understanding of all applicable regulatory agency requirements
· Experience and possess the ability to write procedures, train and monitor staff
· Strong organizational and computer experience required
· Medical Technologist certification (ASCP or equivalent)
· Specialty registration SBB preferred
· 1 year of Supervisory experience preferred

CLS Supervisor- Molecular Biology – Direct Hire/Permanent
Required:

Previous Supervisory Experience
A Clinical Laboratory Supervisor (CLS) is responsible coordinating the activities in the clinical lab as well as fulfilling the role of a Clinical Laboratory Scientist.
Perform all aspects of a Clinical Laboratory Scientist and a General Supervisor under the relevant clinical laboratory regulations.
A CLS will provide professional customer service to our clients.
