Position: Director of Laboratory
Schedule: Monday-Friday 1st shift
Location: Camarillo, CA Area

Summary:
Responsible and accountable for the management of the different laboratory departments including, but not limited to:
· the services provided· staffing
· budget and financial data
· clinical and respiratory lab proficiency testing
· policy & procedure review and development
· regulatory compliance
· positive customer relations
· education/orientation of staff
· liaison with physician director
· effective communication at all levels
· fostering a positive work environment and positive role modeling
· Reports to the CEO.
Requirements:
· Six (6) years clinical laboratory experience, with two (2) years of management experience· Bachelor's Degree in Sciences required
· California Clinical Laboratory Scientist licensure required
· Extensive knowledge of principles; procedures and techniques of clinical laboratory analysis, laws, regulations, and accreditation standards
· Advanced degree in Science or Business preferred
