This job reports to Phelps Jackson and pays a salary of $70,000 - $100,000 per year. Relocation is not provided and travel is not required.

Job Skills/Requirements:
Perform phlebotomy
Give injections
Operate and maintain CBC machines
Distribute lab results
Process specimens for in house and reference labs
Complete QC logs for lab
Manage injection clinic
Assist in back office procedures
Manage stock of laboratory items
Cleaning, stocking of lab and exam rooms
Scheduling of lab and injection patients
Ensure lab coverage during vacation/sickness
Train lab assistants
Assess lab assistants for proficiency
Participate in recruitment of lab personnel as necessary
Investigate patient concerns and billing concerns as necessary
Communicate with external and internal technical advisers
Oversee and when necessary operate all lab equipment
Research and implement new tests and procedures when requested
Prepare and communicate effectively during inspections
Provide CLIA/COLA follow-up report to Lab Medical Director and General
Manager
Review and prepare QC for QA meetings
Provide technical support for all sites when needed
Certification Requirements
– California Lab Scientist License
