Performs a variety of
laboratory tests in many areas of the laboratory,including High Complexity Tests
as defined by CLIA. A CLS is responsible for accuracy and reporting of results
of application of principles, theories and techniques, professional judgment,
computer proficiency, microscopic proficiency, and good communications skills
Shifts: Day
Salary: $74,000-85,000
Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis
Requirements
- Bachelors of Science in Medical Technology or closely related field
- Certified as a Medical Technologist (MT) by the American Society of Clinical
Pathology or equivalent
- California State Licence required (CLS)
- Previous experience working as a generalist is preferred
