Ascend Clinical, formerly Satellite Laboratory Services, has 2 per diem openings for Clinical Laboratory Scientist, preferably with an emphasis in Chemistry and Immunochemistry. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to instrument maintenance and troubleshooting, quality control reporting and documentation, basic chemistry testing and result reporting. Troubleshooting/problem-solving and teamwork are a key part of this position. Required Experience: - Minimum one year experience as a CA licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientist, preferably in Chemistry and Immunochemistry instrumentations helpful - Strong computer skills - Effective communication skills (both oral and written) - In-depth knowledge of laboratory techniques, scientific principles and quality control documentation
