CLS - Direct hire position in the North Oakland area for a Microbiologist that holds CLS certification.

Pay Rate: 75-80k/yr, DOE

Job Duties and Requirements:

-Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology, Life Sciences, or other related degree required.

-2-5 years of clinical experience in the field of Microbiology.

-Must be a California licensed Microbiologist or Scientist. (CLS, Clinical Laboratory Scientist).

-Prepares clinical samples and runs microbiological tests.

-Prepares technical reports and recommendations.

-Records and documents testing and data according to regulatory requirements.

-Knowledge of trending data and basic statistical analysis.

-Performs sterility tests on biological indicators for the sterilization process and validation studies.

-Supports aseptic process validations and gown certification processes in coordination with

manufacturing staff and Quality Assurance.
