- 3+ years direct experience in a laboratory performing high complexity testing
- 2+ out of last five years working in molecular microbiology setting desirable
- Previous molecular diagnostics experience such as DNA isolation and PCR, Capillary electrophoresis, and/or DNA sequencing highly desired
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills.
Responsibilities:
- Perform high complexity nucleic acid based testing procedures:
- Receive and process clinical specimens
- Data enter into a computerized database
- Label and route specimens appropriately
- Evaluate test runs for acceptable performance
- Enter results of testing and review reports to ensure accurate reporting
- Calculate results using testing data with both manual and computerized procedures
- Recognize problems and initiate troubleshooting steps to evaluate testing failures and other problems
- Perform preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
#2 FISH CLS – Cytogenetics or Generalist- DAYS Mon-Friday
· 5 years of experience in FISH, NEEDS to be able to independently interpret and analyze FISH data results

CLS - Doctor's Medical Center, Modesto
We currently have 2 night shift openings. Our night shift works a 7 on 7 off schedule. In other words, they would work Wed to Wed (7 nights in a row) and then be off 7 nights. They are both full time benefited positions. The pay range is in the $35-$40/hr range. The night shift also gets an additional $6/hour differential.

(1 position) Drug Testing Laboratory CLS Director – Sorrento Valley – DIRECT HIRE:
The laboratory director is responsible for the overall operation and administration of the laboratory, including the employment of personnel who are competent to perform test procedures, record and report test results promptly, accurately and proficiently, and for assuring compliance with the applicable regulations The Laboratory Director is responsible that all assays and procedures meet State, Federal, and accrediting agency standards.
(1 position) CLS Toxicology (LCMSMS) Assay development- DIRECT HIRE:
An individuals who is qualified by education and either training or experience to provide technical supervision for drug testing in a high complexity laboratory. The assay development person must possess a current CLS, CLS-C, or CLS-T license issued by the State of California. They should have experience in a high complexity CLIA certified laboratory. The person must be familiar with LC-MS/MS set-up and maintenance procedures.
The assay development person is responsible for:
(1) Select and develop the LC-MS/MS test methodology that is appropriate for the clinical use of the drug test results;
(2) Verification of the test procedures performed and establishment of the laboratory's test performance characteristics, including the precision and accuracy of each test and test system;
(3) Ensure that the test procedures meet CLIA proficiency requirements by passing an HHS approved proficiency testing program commensurate with the services offered;
(1 position) CLS Testing personnel qualifications- DIRECT HIRE: (CLS)
The testing person must possess a current CLS, CLS-C, or CLS-T license issued by the State of California, and have demonstrated the skills in processing and testing urine drug testing specimens using immunoassays and /or LC-MS/MS and skills.
