We are looking for a talented and energetic clinical laboratory technologist with full CLS (Clinical Laboratory Scientist) licensing or with specialty (limited) licensing in Molecular Biology (CGMBS) in the State of California. Experience in a molecular biology laboratory in strongly preferred. The ideal candidate should be personable, have great attention to detail, and should expect to learn skills quickly and independently once they join our team. We are looking for someone who is excited to work in a fast-paced startup environment and can work well under pressure.
Job responsibilities include DNA/RNA extractions of tissue samples, next-generation sequencing library preparation and sequencing, and general laboratory management including maintaining and updating clinical laboratory documents.
Requirements:
CLS or CGMB license, accepting recent CLS graduates
BS Degree
Preferred: Molecular background with NGS experience
*Note: This is a contract to hire position, schedule is: Monday to Friday
