CLS (Molecular) - San Francisco Bay Area

We have an exciting opportunity in the San Francisco Bay Area for a Clinical Laboratory Scientist- Molecular.   This is a permanent position and the need is immediate.

We are looking for CLS's with Molecular Biology Experience.  Primary Responsibilities will include the following:

·         Read, understand and follow applicable standard operating procedures (SOPs)
·         Perform data entry, specimen processing, and analytical testing
·         Ensure client turnaround times (TATs) are met
·         Perform equipment maintenance, calibration, QC, and proficiency testing
·         Track client sample and result information
·         Evaluate abnormal test results per guidelines
·         Evaluate new products

Job Requirements:

·         Valid California State CLS license
·         1-5 years laboratory experience, molecular experience preferred
·         Knowledge of routine laboratory equipment and procedures
·         Experience performing moderate to highly complex testing - e.g. PCR/DNA analysis
·         Commitment to service, quality, and laboratory accuracy
·         Ability to work independently
·         Excellent communication skills
