The ideal Immunohematology Reference Technologist candidate possess a current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License and a high level of competence and understanding of blood bank laboratory best practices and sciences as-well-as experience solving basic and complex patient antibody problems.
The ideal Quality Control Technologist possess a current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License and an ability to learn to perform quality control, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory equipment. Blood bank experience is not required. Incumbents will also be trained to perform a variety of hematological, microbiological testing on apheresis and whole blood products.
