Summary:
In keeping with core values of this organization Director of Laboratory services oversees the daily activities of the laboratory.
Must also have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be an effective leader and team member. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain effective working relations with departments, Medical Staff, Co-workers and the ability to negotiate conflict resolution and work with cross-functional teams. Must have the ability to apply current management principles and practices, including personnel administration. Must have the ability to problem-solve in a proactive manner. Ability to achieve results for the organization with and through other people utilizing creative and innovative solutions.
Requirements:
CA Clinical Laboratory Scientist License
Managed over 100 FTE's for 2+ Years
An excellent leader that knows how to strategically think and lead
Bachelors Degree in Science required
Extensive knowledge of principles; procedures; and techniques of the clinical laboratory analysis, laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
