We are looking for a self-motivated individual with assay experience in a regulated (GLP/CLIA/GMP) environment. This person will be supervising daily operations of clinical testing to produce high quality results to meet assay turn-around times. This person will be responsible for scheduling and performing testing as needed; ensuring the quality of testing; reviewing laboratory data; preparing appropriate reports, protocols and SOPS; overseeing reagent qualifications and inventory; overseeing equipment maintenance; participating on project teams; ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety practices. The Senior CLS will help establish a service oriented group to meet internal and external customer needs. They will interact with the Software Development, Clinical/Regulatory, Marketing, and R&D departments as needed to help facilitate testing.
Requirements
Must have a valid California CLS license with 4+ years of experience in clinical laboratory supervision.Experience:6-8 years laboratory experience, experience in molecular techniques and FDA 510K regulatory experience is a plus.Meet TS or GS requirements for New York, California, and Federal CLIA requirements for high complexity chemistry testing.Special skills/Abilities:Laboratory experience with a background in molecular techniques or FDA 510K regulatory experience is considered a plus. Excellent computer skills including WORD, EXCEL, and PowerPoint is required. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
