This Clinical Research Scientist will split his/her time as needed between
performing basic immunohistochemistry and fluorescence in situ hybridization
(FISH) on breast (or other) cancer specimens to evaluate prognostic factors
and/or predictive factors AND performing molecular biology procedures (such as
attached list). This Clinical Research Scientist must be capable of assisting other
technical personnel with their projects; and be prepared to adapt new methods to
specific research needs. We will train any employee who does not already
possess knowledge of the methods involved.
1. Western Blotting
2. Cell Culture
3. DNA Sequence Analysis
4. PCR
5. Nucleic Acid Extraction (DNA& RNA)
6. Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
7. Fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH)
8. Immunoprecipitation

- Minimum Field of Expertise Valid California License — Clinical Lab Technologist, biological sciences.
