CLS - Chico CA

Mangrove Medical Lab & XRAY, Chico CA, seeks a full time Clinical Laboratory Scientist to conduct specimen handling and processing, test analyses, reporting and maintaining records of patient test results in accordance with laboratory procedures. Maintain records of testing samples, analyze specimens using approved testing procedures. Follow CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA and safety guidelines, adhere to laboratory quality control policies and document quality control activities.

Responsible for leadership and supervision of all laboratory employees.  Perform annual employee competencies.  Keep laboratory policies and procedure manual up to date and compliant with state and federal regulations.

Qualified applicant qualifications:

• Possess a valid Clinical Lab Scientist license issued by the California State Department of Health (Laboratory Field Services)
• MUST HAVE minimum of 5 years’ experience as a licensed Clinical Scientist
• Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of all aspects of the laboratory

Mangrove Medical Lab & XRAY operates Monday through Thursday 8 AM – 5 PM and Fridays 8 AM to 2 PM.  No nights, weekends or holidays! We offer a full suite of benefits including health, dental, vision, and life paid 100% by the organization.  We have a generous personal time off policy in the first year and offer a 401(k) plan after the completion of 1 year and 1000 hours of work
