Gene Security Network

Gene Security Network, Inc. (GSN) is a new company applying a novel preimplantation genetic diagnosis technology to help parents select the healthiest embryos during IVF. With commercial release of its first product and recent CLIA certification, GSN is seeking a motivated and skilled full-time clinical laboratory scientist.

This individual must have a current ASCP medical technologist license with experience in Chemistry or Genetics. The shift will be a "late swing" shift, i.e., 7pm to 3am and will involve advanced protocols using single cell molecular technology and high-throughput DNA microarrays. Ideally this individual will also help with validation of new protocols for submission to Laboratory Field Services for approval under CLIA as well as for potential IVD submissions to the FDA. This position will also involve work related to quality assurance and proficiency testing, as well as equipment maintenance and sample tracking. Experience with PCR, DNA extraction, and/or DNA microarrays is preferred but not required.
