Short Term Full Time Position
There is a temporary full-time position for a CLS in Special Chemistry at our Hillview laboratory beginning in June and ending in September to fill in for an employee who is going on maternity leave. It is a PM position, 4pm-12:30. The job number is 15022. Growing oncology medical device diagnostic company located near San Jose,CA. Company has under 100 employees and position is open due to growth.
Position Summary We currently have a key assignment available for a proven leader to takeresponsibility for the set up, certification and technical and scientificperformance of our high complexity genetic testing CLIA certifiedlaboratory. We'll rely on you to directly manage the personnel and dailyoperations of the lab, including coordinating technical/administrativefunctions, supervising high complexity testing personnel, implementing andmaintaining a Quality Management System, verifying test systems andestablishing a robust program for troubleshooting, maintenance andcalibration of instrumentation and equipment. You will also be expected tomaintain an approved Proficiency Testing program, QC/QA programs and anapproved procedure manual, as well as evaluate test results.
Requirements To qualify, you must have 7+ years of related experience, including 3 yearsof hands-on management supervisory experience, a California CLS or CGMBlicense and meet the requirements for General Supervisor and TechnicalSupervisor under CLIA regulations (42CFR, part 493). A BS in Chemistry or abiological science and knowledge of molecular biology or medical geneticsare preferred.
